Based on the novel "How I Met Myself" written by David A.Hill, the character that I admire is John Taylor. I admire John Taylor as he was a determined man. After his first meeting with his doppelganger, he was determined to find the truth about that mysterious man. He kept going back to 7 Felka Utca and Zsolt's Cafe just so he could meet that man again. He also continued searching for information at the Budapest City Library. He spent days reading backdated newspapers so he could find any important news that was happened on every 18th January on Budapest Thirteen District. He found a news about a mother named Mrs. Szabo who was killed in the cellar with her daughter. The information led John to interview Mrs. Fischer who knew Janos Szabo, the man John was looking for. John continue gathered more information until he found all his answers and reasons why the doppelganger existed in his life.

John was also admired by his loving and caring nature towards his family. After the explosion at Zsolt's Cafe, John rushed from Gergely Utca to Zsolt's Cafe to save his wife and daughter. When he got to the same, he instantly ordered the bystanders to pick up the broken stones so the entrance of Zsolt's Cafe would be cleared for him to enter. He was willing to take the risk and endanger his life for his family. From all the reasons started above, I truly admire John Taylor. I would want to be a determined person and at the same time, be loving and caring to my family.
