There are several reasons for the serious water pollution in our home town。First，many factories polluted the river，nothing could live there。Second，used batteries were thrown into the rivers，，Finally，rubbish was put into the river。
If we don’t protect rivers from pollution，we will have water problem。we must educate people to know how important the water is。And how much water can be used in our daily life，and how many are thirsty。
Some factories can’t be built near the river。I think they will follow the rules，and they also can protect the water。
