——The East and the West
The East and the West, Let’s enjoy the combination of the two cultures? Kipling said:“East is east, and west is west, and never the twain shall meet!” But now, a century later, they have met.
They have met in business. They have met in education. They have met in the arts. Some people will argue that these meetings will leave us with a choice between east and west, but I believe that the best future lies in the creative combination of both worlds. We can make western ideas, customs and technology our own, and adapt them to our own use. We can enjoy the best of both worlds, because our tradition is, above all, one of selecting the best and making it our own.
I love Beijing and Hennan opera because it always reminds me of who I am. But I am also a fan of pop music, especially English songs. So I have combined eastern melody with western language. It is called western henna opera.
When two cultures meet, there may be things in one culture, which do not fit into the tradition of the other. When this happens, we need to learn to understand and respect the customs of another culture. Then there are certain things some people may not like. To this, I will say, if you do not like it, please try to tolerate it. To learn to tolerate what you personally don’t like is a great virtue at a time when different cultures mix and merge. Before us, there are two rivers, eastern and western cultures. At present, they may run in different courses. But eventually, they will converge into the vast sea of human culture.

On the cntrary , if you are competent in profession , but have difficulty in getting along with your colleagues and even your boss, you can hardly survive the corporation. Another component is the ability to expreoneself . In today s world , what really counts is the ability to expreoneself rather than technical competence or professional knowledge . The larger the orgnization of which you are an employee , and th fiercer the competition , the more important it will be that you know how to convey your thoughts and convince others of your ideas. Personality is also an important factor. Whatever difficulty or situation , those who appear relaxed and confident are nearer to success. 黄昏悄悄地来了，它将要无情地带走我的太阳，橙黄的阳光被淘气的云朵撕碎成了许多带着淡淡忧伤的美丽。我走在操场里，身边开始安静，只听见我困乏的脚步声，它朝着教室的反方向远去。此时的我带着烦乱的心情，不想去上课，不想听到教室里没有旋律的嘈杂。我使劲地闻着桂花的香气，心里忽然开始深深地想念我的高中，想念我的高中生活…
我给我高中的那所学校取了个很好听的名字，叫围城。也许是钱钟书在那里写的《围城》掌舵了我的想象吧。不过，我所说的围城有不一样的意义。围城对于我来说意味着飞翔的阶梯。我喜欢围城，她让我有飞出去看看的冲动，让我拥有不平凡的梦想。
高中的我不孤独。野人，沙沙和我组成了三剑客。我们三个是被游戏拉扯到一起的，我们喜欢逃课，喜欢翻围墙，喜欢躲在大家乐那个寥有人知的角落里玩我们的游戏。我们都很孤傲，但我们都有炽热的心，只是我们不善于表达而已。我们用我们的行动在393班那个温暖的集体里赢得了信任和尊重。
我的日子里也不全部是游戏。我深深地喜欢着一个女生，我们彼此幸福着，用心安安静静地度过着每一天。那样的日子真的很清新，很恬美。记得，每当我把早自习睡完后，一份热腾腾的泡面和一个不大不小的苹果总是及时地被摆在我的课桌上，而且每次都摆在左上角，因为她喜欢左边，我也喜欢。到了傍晚她总会拉着我去后山的桂花树下许愿，她总是背靠着斑驳的树干缓缓地闭上眼睛，满脸虔诚，默默地许下自己的心愿。然后把嘴巴凑到我耳旁轻轻地说出她那小小的秘密。我在心里静静地笑着，看着她不做作的幼稚开心地呼吸。在那样的幸福里，我没有烦恼，没有忧郁。那种感觉真的很难忘记，一辈子都会那么干净。
围城里的孩子当然不可能只有快乐，烦恼是必然的。我们三剑客经常会被勒令请家长到校，我们被老师们厌烦着，被老实的同学指点着。可我们不在乎，不想去理睬那些毫无意义的猜疑。我们继续着我们的游戏，继续着别人眼里的堕落，我们自我欣赏着，彼此不离不弃。我们喜欢跑到操场，翻上高高的围墙，死死地盯着天空，然后放声大叫，或低声歌唱，最后打个小盹接着去我们的大家乐。呵，那样的我们好潇洒，潇洒得都快得意忘形。
潇洒中终究要有不堪作插曲，三剑客的潇洒也不例外。高考如期而至，三剑客也逃不开那现实，我们依依不舍地放下了游戏，也冷淡了爱情。在各自的书堆里亡羊补牢。时间艰难地挺到了离高考只有一个月，可我们却不堪重负地来了个集体放弃。我们激动地翻过围墙，省略了静心唱歌的程序，直奔大家乐。可是，大家乐已经不在了，听说是因为是黑网被查封了。于是，我们跑去了别的网吧。当我们想再次以虚拟的角色闯进游戏的剧情之后，却发觉手很生疏，玩不起劲。我们只好懊恼地离开了那陌生的网吧，各自去找自己的女孩。可更没想到的是，我们的爱情也集体消失了，她们在我们离开的日子里，悄悄地从我们身边走开了。我突然发现我好久没闻过泡面的气味了，也好久没吃过大小恰倒好处的苹果了。原来，一切都有可能失去的，只是天真的我们相信，有的是永远不会离我们而去的。
三剑客以一种莫名的默契在操场的围墙旁相遇，淡淡地相视而笑代替了多余的言语。我们用舒服的姿态依靠着，静静地听着风声。突然我很想带他们俩去那棵桂花树下许愿。于是我们跳下围墙径直走到了树下，那时桂花还没开，只有叶子。我们闭上眼开始许愿，可我怎么也想不出愿望，只是脑海里总是浮现着那张稚嫩的脸，杂乱的思绪活生生的把那张原本就模糊的脸掩埋得深不可见，我奋力冲破那样的包围，但我无能为力。只好投降地睁开眼。睁开眼我惊讶地看到了他们俩的笑脸，我的心突然地就无比的明媚了。我脸上也跟着绽放了被搁浅了太久的笑容。很久，很久，我们的嘴巴都没有合拢。
回忆终究还是远离了，他乡的桂花怎么也闻不出那样美好的感觉。我想在远方的围城里，那棵老老的桂花树同样香了。应该会有我们不熟悉的身影站在我们曾经站过的位置以同样的角度仰望着她吧。不知道我们在她边上的石头上刻的三剑客是否还那么清晰。我想这次三剑客的灵魂还是以那种莫名的默契在她的脚下相遇了，还是没说话，还是淡淡地相视而笑，然后把一切困惑都忘干净了…
